Welcome

I am currently the Head of the R&D department at Mobinets in Lebanon (2012-Present). Mobinets provides mobile network solutions for next generation OSS. I also lead the Microwave RF planning and optimization department. Concurrently, I am an Adjunct Professor at DeVry University where I teach Wireless Networks courses for graduate and undergraduate levels (2010- Present). Previously, I worked on simulating various wireless networks for military applications at Ultra Electronics in Montreal, Canada (2010-2012). Prior to that, I was involved in a Satellite project (2009-2010) with Intelligent Software Radio (iSR) company in Montreal, Canada. My first job was a Post-Doc fellow at Ecole de Technologie Superieure where I worked on the Cognitive Wireless Mesh Networks topic (2008-2009).

I obtained my Ph.D. in Applied Science (2003-2007) at University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR), Little Rock, AR, USA in November 2007. Prior to joining UALR in Aug. 2003, I obtained my M.S. studies in the Telecommunications field at Roosevelt University, Chicago, Illinois, USA (2000-2002). I received my B.Eng. (5 years) in Electrical Engineering at Lebanese American University in Beirut, Lebanon (1995-2000).

I have extensive knowledge and experience in the Wireless Communications industry (RF Planning and Optimization) in terms of Wireless Mesh and Wireless Broadband Networks. I have developed several algorithms (Power Management, Load balancing, Channel Assignment) that have been published at international conferences and journals articles all over the world.

Aside from my technical life, I enjoy various activities and sports. My favorite sport is Tennis and I also love swimming, biking, soccer, and chess.
